reddit-zen: JellyKey has provided some of the best creations in the tiniest package possible, the quality and the designs seems to just get better everytime. This shows me that they are evolving with their efforts, complicated designs taking a bold step without having to perform raffles like every other artisans and at the same time producing them in big bulks. Very admirable efforts by them, they will have my business till the day i die.
bears_bears_bears_: I love you every single key is a work of art that is painstakingly looked over and at. You set the standard for quality and it’s why they’re worth the price. I wish there was some way that you could get old runs more easily- but I know in the handcrafted space that’s difficult.

Well, when I first started getting into mech keyboards, I was pretty much intending to just get blank keycaps and keep it simple. Most artisan caps I saw were basic 3d-printed single-colour affairs. They were cool and all, but they weren’t my cup of tea. Then I saw Emerald Cliffs, from the Artifact series. The style and details blew me away. I’ve always loved naturescapes, and when I saw this keycap, I thought to myself: “I MUST have it!”. Your keycaps are the reason I buy artisan caps in the first place: I ONLY buy artisan keys from Jelly Keys. I do have one gripe though: It’s only been a couple months since you guys launched Ethereal Reign. Between that and Christmas coming up, this drop is doing some serious damage to my wallet 😭.

The resin is so transparent and doesn’t distract from the beauty of the caps. I’ve seen attempts from other companies where I see very small bubbles in the resin and some of the objects within seem to have settled incorrectly so they’re out of place. I’m not sure how you guys pull it off but your keycaps are absolute perfection. There’s so many layers, so much detail, so much love out into each creation and I just really appreciate that.

I don’t have any dislikes, really just a suggestion: there’s lots of old designs that you don’t make anymore – for obvious reasons – and I wish Jelly Key had some sort of artisan trade-in/market setup. You could offer existing customers some sort of trade/swap for old products they’d like to get rid of, and you could certify and resell older products. Currently, it’s virtually impossible to obtain older Jelly Key releases. Since your products typically have unique serial numbers, it shouldn’t be hard to certify products as your own, and not duplicates or fakes.
