Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jelly Key (“Jelly Key”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) — the artisan keycap studio operating the website jellykey.com — collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, or otherwise interact with us. Jelly Key is a brand of Joiha studio, based in Vietnam, shipping handcrafted keycaps to customers worldwide.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account details — your name, email address, username, and password when you register an account.
  • Order & billing information — your shipping and billing address, phone number, email, and the products you order. We use this to process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
  • Payment information — payment is handled by our payment providers (see Section 4). We do not store your full card number on our servers; we receive only limited transaction details (such as a confirmation and the last digits of your card) needed to complete and support your order.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email, contact form, or our live-chat widget, including any information you choose to share when asking for support.
  • Marketing preferences — your email address and consent if you subscribe to our newsletter, group-buy announcements, or raffle notifications.
  • Group buys, raffles & pre-orders — any additional details you provide when entering a raffle, joining a group buy, or placing a pre-order.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device & usage data — your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring page, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — small files stored on your device that keep your shopping cart and login working, remember your preferences, and help us understand how the site is used (see Section 5).
  • Analytics — aggregated statistics about how visitors browse and shop, collected through the analytics tools described in Section 5.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Process and deliver your orders, including raffles, group buys, and pre-orders;
  • Create and manage your account and provide customer support;
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and tracking information;
  • Send marketing emails about new releases, restocks, group buys, and raffles — only where you have asked us to, and you can unsubscribe at any time;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security threats;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website, products, and services;
  • Comply with our legal and tax obligations.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) requires it, we rely on the following legal bases to process your information: performance of our contract with you (to fulfil your orders), your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (to run and secure our business), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Payments

When you make a purchase, your payment is processed by trusted third-party payment providers. Depending on the method you choose, these may include:

  • Stripe — credit and debit card payments;
  • PayPal — PayPal balance and card payments;
  • Bank transfer — local bank transfer for selected regions.

These providers process your payment details directly under their own privacy policies and security standards (PCI-DSS). We receive only the information needed to confirm and support your transaction. We never sell your payment information.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function, such as keeping items in your cart, keeping you logged in, and securing checkout. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics and Clicky for aggregated, statistical insights.
  • Security & performance — we use Cloudflare for content delivery, bot protection, and to keep the site fast and secure.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the website — including checkout — from working correctly.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed:

  • Payment providers — Stripe, PayPal, and bank-transfer partners, to process payments;
  • Shipping & logistics — postal services and couriers (such as DHL and other carriers), to deliver your order and provide tracking;
  • Email & marketing — Mailchimp, to send newsletters and order-related emails;
  • Analytics — Google Analytics and Clicky, for website statistics;
  • Hosting, security & support — our website host, Cloudflare, and our live-chat provider (Crisp), to operate the site and respond to your questions;
  • Legal & safety — authorities or advisers where required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, and business;
  • Business transfers — if Jelly Key is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. International Data Transfers

Jelly Key operates from Vietnam and serves customers around the world. Your information may be processed in Vietnam and in other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — including to fulfil your orders, provide support, and meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Order records are typically retained for the period required by applicable law. When your information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by unsubscribing from marketing);
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@jellykey.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

10. Marketing Communications

If you have subscribed, we may email you about new releases, restocks, group buys, and raffles. You can opt out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional emails such as order confirmations and shipping updates.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secured hosting, bot and abuse protection, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated by email or a notice on our website.
