Resin keycaps for mechanical keyboards

Jelly Key makes handmade resin artisan keycaps for mechanical keyboards, each one cast, sanded and finished by hand in our studio. Every design goes out a single time, through a monthly group buy or a weekly raffle, and we don’t run it again. Follow us on Discord and Instagram to see what we’re pouring next.

To be honest, we made this one for ourselves – and for you. It is that classic end-of-the-month moment. You look at what is left in your pocket, stretch every last note across the bills, and work out that there is absolutely nothing left over for a new toy on the desk. That is all it took.

These artisan keycaps and art toys are already made and ship within 7 business days, with no production run to wait on. That’s our in-stock approach, and it is a separate thing from a group buy. You see it, you order it, it leaves the studio that week.

Group buy keycaps go out once per collection and then close for good. Miss a group buy and we won’t restock it, recolor it or bring it back. The design steps aside so the next one can take its place. Sign up for the mailing list and you’ll know when the next group buy opens.

Raffle keycaps open every Tuesday at 11 PM, GMT+7. Spots are drawn rather than sold first come first served, so the queue doesn’t decide who gets one.

Artisan keycaps FAQ

What is an artisan keycap?

An artisan keycap is made by hand, one at a time, instead of moulded by the thousand. Ours are cast in resin and finished by hand, with materials set into the pour. Wood, watch gears, crystals, pigment that keeps glowing after dark. A single keycap replaces one key, usually Escape or Enter, and becomes the thing your eye goes to first.

Will it fit my keyboard?

Most of our artisan keycaps fit standard MX-style switches, which is what the large majority of mechanical keyboards use. We cast sizes 1u through 7u in the common profiles, Cherry, SA, OEM, Cubic and our own Droplet. Every product page lists the exact size and profile, so you can match your board before you buy.

What is a group buy?

A group buy is how most designs go out. We open orders for a set window, produce the run, then close the design for good, with no restocks and no repeats. If you miss one, the next group buy or the weekly raffle is the way in, so it’s worth joining our mailing list.
