Some places a person dreams of reaching just once in a lifetime. Everest, the roof of the world. K2, sharp and merciless. Mont Blanc, white and radiant at the heart of Europe. Few of us will ever stand on those summits. But every one of us can keep a piece of them within arm’s reach.

Silent Peaks is an artisan keycap collection drawn from the mightiest mountains on Earth. Each cap is a miniature relief model: a hand-sculpted summit rising from a wooden base carved in layered contour lines, the way old survey maps and museum terrain models are built. Seen from above, it reads as a map. Seen from the side, a whole range breaks free of your desk. Line a few together and your keyboard becomes a tiny cordillera, every keystroke a hand laid on the roof of the sky.

Two forms, two horizons

1u caps – Three lone summits. Three designs, each a single legendary peak standing alone, all its grandeur gathered into one high point:

Everest (8,848m, Himalaya) – the roof of the world, sheer and quietly commanding.

K2 (8,611m, Karakoram) – the mountaineer’s mountain, a cold and perfect pyramid, beautiful and dangerous at once.

Mont Blanc (4,808m, Alps) – Europe’s gentle white crown, soft in line yet proud in bearing.

2.25u caps – Three great ranges. On the longer profile, three designs open into sweeping panoramas, summit chained to summit:

Himalaya Range – the wall of the world, endless and unbroken.

Karakoram Range – a harsh country of rock and ice, jagged in every detail.

Alps – Europe’s familiar ridgelines, graceful and finely balanced.

Three shades of stone

Each design comes in three colorways, like the same peak caught at three different hours:

Granite – silvered stone with a metallic gleam, the mountain at its rawest and coldest.

Copper Dust – warm copper-orange veined with mossy green, like late sun spilling down the rock face.

Glacier – glacial blue under fresh snow, the clear, thin cold of high altitude.

Every summit rests on a warm red-grain wooden base, so the cold of the peak and the warmth of the wood lift each other.

The maker’s hand

Mountain terrain is among the hardest forms to sculpt: hundreds of faces, ridges, and couloirs, all kept crisp at the width of a fingertip. Every layer of color is laid by hand so snow settles where snow belongs and bare rock shows through where it should. The contoured base is built up layer over layer, true to a real relief model. This is a set that only rewards you more the closer you look.
