Mid-Autumn Festival – Never Truly Distant

For Asian countries, especially Vietnam, the Mid-Autumn Festival is always a beautiful occasion where stories and memories are shared under the full moon. Each time it comes around, we’re transported back to our childhood with shimmering lanterns, fairy tales of the Moon Goddess and the Man on the Moon, and of course, the delicious traditional mooncakes. Jelly Key understands the profound spiritual values that the Mid-Autumn Festival brings, and we want to share that through our latest collection. This year’s Mid-Autumn collection by Jelly Key is like a vibrant painting of childhood memories, with familiar mascots recreated in a sophisticated and creative way.

Qilin Dancing: Symbolizing prosperity, success, and bringing luck and happiness to everyone, the image of the lion dance is deeply etched in the minds of children. Even as we grow up, it remains one of our most cherished memories. Jelly Key believes that updating our Lion version is the right move. With years of experience under our belt, we’re confident in creating a more detailed, lively, and especially more colorful Lion to vividly capture its spirit in the dance. As the old saying goes, we may not be lion dance performers, but we are artisans who bring the essence of the lion dance into a miniature Artisan Keycap.

Mooncake: Every country has its own version of the Mid-Autumn mooncake, and Jelly Key aims to showcase more colorful images and diverse designs. This time, we’ve drawn inspiration from Japan’s Wagashi for our mooncake. By applying a two-layer color casting technique, the inner colors are enveloped by a translucent layer, creating fluid and soft hues. The cake’s surface is crafted to look almost lifelike, offering the most authentic feel. The sweetness blended with a touch of charm will create mooncakes that you’ll remember from the very first touch. Jelly Key hopes to bring the joy of savoring mooncakes with family to everyone.

Lantern: This marks the most significant change from Jelly Key this time. We’ve always believed that the image of the carp during the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes courage. Notably, this is one of the keycap models that Jelly Key aspires to make resemble a real lantern. With the features we’ve incorporated, we’ve created a keycap that can glow under UV light and flashlights. We believe this carp will be a wonderful highlight not only for our long-time nostalgic customers but also as a genuine toy for children.
