My name is Augustino, and I am an artisan at Jelly Key. Let me share my journey from crafting desserts to creating keycaps!
Before joining Jelly Key, I was the “head chef” of two small dessert shops. The first one, Fuji Snow, specialized in ice cream and mango-inspired treats. Every dish was crafted with so much care and attention to detail that customers often said they felt like they were “chilling” in a sunny, refreshing garden after just one bite. Later, I opened Holiat, a place filled with refreshing drinks and a wide variety of pastries. With over 50 items on the menu, there was something for everyone. I still remember even the pickiest customers being amazed by the creativity behind every dish.
My passion for desserts has taken me far, but I’ve always wanted to try something different. So when I joined Jelly Key, I thought, “Why not bring this sweet dessert world to keyboards?”
Every keycap I create is like a tiny “dessert” that captures the essence of those sweet memories. The visuals, colors, and textures are all meticulously designed, just like how I used to perfect every scoop of ice cream or every slice of cake. But instead of being something you can eat, these little “treats” are made to inspire and brighten your day.
This collection has something even more special: each keycap is like a unique “drink.” You’ll find details like syrup, ice cubes, lemon slices, and mint leaves – all individually crafted and assembled, just like making a natural drink. I even added a glossy water droplet effect on the frosted glass-like surface, carefully creating each droplet to look realistic. Just looking at it feels like holding a refreshingly cold drink in your hand! It’s an experience almost like stepping into your favorite café and ordering your go-to treat.
