Artisan keycaps for mechanical keyboards

Jelly Key makes handmade resin artisan keycaps for mechanical keyboards, each one cast, sanded, and finished by hand in our studio. Every design is released a single time, through a monthly group buy or a weekly raffle, and never run again. Follow us on Discord and Instagram to see what we are pouring next.

In-Stock sales

These artisan keycaps and art toys are already made and ready to ship within 7 business days. No waiting on a production run. This is our in-stock approach, separate from a group buy: you see it, you order it, it leaves the studio that week.

Group buy keycaps are released once per collection, then closed for good. Miss a group buy and there is no restock, no second color, no re-release. The design steps aside so the next one can take its place. Sign up for the mailing list to know when the next group buy opens.

Raffle keycaps open every Tuesday at 11 PM, GMT+7. Spots are drawn, not sold first come first served, so the queue does not decide who gets one.

Artisan keycaps FAQ

What is an artisan keycap?

An artisan keycap is a keycap made by hand, one at a time, instead of molded by the thousand. Ours are cast in resin and finished by hand, with materials set inside the pour: wood, watch gears, crystals, pigment that glows after dark. A single cap replaces one key on your mechanical keyboard, usually the Escape, Enter, or a spacebar, and turns it into the piece your eye goes to first. It is a small object that carries a lot of hours.

Will it fit my keyboard?

Most of our artisan keycaps are built for standard MX-style switches, the kind used on the large majority of mechanical keyboards. We cast in sizes 1u through 7u and cut for the common profiles: Cherry, SA, OEM, Cubic, and our own Droplet. Each product page lists the exact size and profile so you can match it to your board before you buy.

What is a group buy?

A group buy is how we release most designs. We open orders for a set window, make the run, and then close the design for good. There are no restocks and no repeats. If you missed one, the next group buy or weekly raffle is the way in, so the mailing list is worth joining.
