Zen Pond II A Story of Everything
Hope you’re still doing well. Has anything changed since the last time we talked? I remember watching you’re click-clacking so hard when I was in the pond chilling with Taisho. We were just waiting for your fingertip to hit us with your best shot so that we can enjoy a nice wave through the pond. A sense of guilt hit me hard! Alright, I should start explaining why I left our home all of a sudden. But promise me, don’t be mad, okay? I’ll be back before you know it!
By the time you read this letter, I probably have arrived at Eden Nirvana, the place I always tell you about. Today is a very special day, because my long lost brother has been reincarnated again into human form and finally found his true love. To tell you everything from scratch, I have to take you back 350 years ago when my brother and I were one of the most respectable generals in the history of Japan.
It was nearly the end of 1670, and people used to call it “God’s Punishment’’ – the harshest winter ever witnessed in the Edo period. People were living a life on the edge: there was barely enough food or necessities to go around, no kinds of wild animals could survive through that bitter cold, the whole scene was just terribly tragic and filled with a massive array of snow.
As if the situation was not already bad enough, a rising army of mutineers in the North of Kyoto started their revolt against the Edo shogunate. The brother I mentioned earlier – Hidetada – was personally appointed by Edo’s ruler to be the commanding general of the military operation to fight the rebels and bring peace to the country. We fought alongside each other, saving villages they burnt and reuniting families they lost. Naive as we were, thinking the victory was in our hand. But sometimes, fate leads us in a way that nobody can ever expect.
Hidetada rescued lots of people, and one of them was the Daughter of the rebels’ leader. Taking anger on her father’s wicked revolt, she blended in imprisoned villages and helped these innocent people. The moment Hidetada caught the Daughter just right after she fell off that burning bridge, he also fell in love with her. That’s how they met.
When her father found out his own daughter had always been the one betraying him, wrath took over. He sent countless men to hunt her down. When he could finally find Daughter, he pulled out an arrow, gently put it in the bow, aimed at his daughter’s heart, and released the string.
Hidetada saw it coming. He ran to the front of her, saving the only one he ever loved. He fell into the freezing river nearby right after taking that arrow and quickly sank to the bottom. Daughter can’t even say goodbye to the man that saved her twice. That’s how they parted.
My brother wasn’t really dead. He was reborn into a Koi fish god that guards the highest cloud of Eden Nirvana, the ultimate heaven of mankind. There are 9 ponds inside that cloud floor, each of which has a specific magical power that represents the characteristic of the Koi Guardian that’s protecting its pond. And Hidetada is the one with Time Travel ability. I have to say, whoever sets their feet on this place of Eden Nirvana will be stunned to the soul while beholding its spectacular beauty of *everything.* The existential elements, the core matter of yin and yang, the eventual answer to what’s the meaning of life.
Flashback, Daughter was so distraught after seeing the man she loved killed in front of her eyes, she led a revolutionary army against her own father’s, and won the battle not just between right and wrong, but also bloodline and justice. Following her death as a peaceful but lonely woman, Daughter became a Koi fish lover in the next life. She’s willing to go everywhere to search for the most extraordinary Koi. Then Eden Nirvana came to her knowledge. Packed with all her heart and determination, she embarked on the journey to Eden Nirvana to find the one and only Koi.
When she arrived, Hidetada was absolutely electrified. He waved in the water and finally caught her attention. You should probably know what happened next, right? Yeah yeah, she drank the water and traveled back in time to save Hidetada so that they can be together and now we are celebrating their reunion!

The first time the Eden effects was the Jelly Eden artisan keycaps set with 6 main color groups, each color included 4 different shades. The color rays that you can see on a finished product are a process of trial and error, the colored rays have different deposition times, different waiting temperatures and color fusion. When we launched the first keycap with Eden effect, our group spent a lot of time to be able to produce the harmonious effects and colors on each keycap to each customer but still guaranteed the same color, each customer keycap has a unique effect and imprint and does not repeat on any other keycap.
Jelly Key is the first keycap making group to bring Eden effect into keycap, which has been loved and supported a lot by you, our lovely customers. Just as Eden of Jelly Key has inspired other keycap makers to create extremely stunning keycap, with completely new shades always gives you surprises about the new keycap model.
