When life happens, we can face the situation and pull in a new direction away from the struggles or use our toolkits to handle it. However, in our dreams, especially in bad ones where our wisdom, world experience, or even the dream catchers we bought from a boho gift shop are the most minor matter, what would save us and allow us to wake up after that? Have you heard about the Dream Walkers squad? They are good-side creatures in Steven’s dream world known to be protectors of humans from the monsters in their nightmares ever since they know how to dream. In this article, we will take a journey through the land of dreams, through mythology and folklore, to explore one of the most marvellous creatures among them – Octopians.

There is always a life hack

Octopians are creatures known to be protectors of humans from the monsters in their nightmares ever since they know how to dream. First, they are believed to use powerful, colourful appendages, including 6 arms and 2 legs, to flexibly move around the paradox of dreams to detect any threats that could interrupt humans’ nice sleep, such as terrifying monsters, dangerous situations, sharp objects, or grief. When identifying the bad dream causer, Octopians then decide what kind of strokes to attack and conquer them. For example, if there are monsters, Octopians would release a giant toxic flood to deactivate the monster’s power. Then, their stretch of arms with thorny hooks will catch the monster and swallow it.

To fight more powerful creatures like a tsunami, not a single Octopian that saves you but a tribe of them! Their swimming or propulsion along the ocean floor calms the tsunami monster down so that some young skilful team members would have more time to stretch their appendages to lift you from the ground up to the clouds where the tsunami cannot harm you anymore. Because of the overwhelming fear, you wake up with the last image of what makes you run, but none of the scenes where Octopians save you.

Nobody knows when or how they exist, but one thing is certain: they come from a mystical land. Octopians fight our monsters, and by the time the battle is over, we will wake up to the most peaceful morning possible.

So a wonderful dream lingers and may come true

In adulthood, nightmares are often brought into life even while awake: peer pressure, paying bills, rejection, not being enough, anxious thoughts, etc. Good news: Nothing stops us from keeping the Octopians aside, so they will be your reassurance of ‘don’t let the fear stop your dreams; it’s safe to move forward.
